Twitter feeds appear to have broken in the last ~18 hours.
Looking through a handful of subs, I see some where the last fetch was “551”, some where the last fetch was “200”, and some – like the following for https://twitter.com/charlescwcooke – where it went 551, then returned OK:
2017-04-30 18:35:06: OK (200)
2017-04-29 14:23:37: Broken feed (551)
2017-04-29 09:02:20: OK (200)
However, I have no new stories across the ~100 twitter feeds I follow, today. I *believe* I had a smattering this morning, but I can’t recall. There’s certainly none at present.

I’m watching them and they are coming in fine, and anecdotally speaking, my Twitter feeds are looking up to date.
Can you share the http://newsblur.com/site/FEED_ID url of the site?

Of course, 15 minutes after I write this, I’m starting to see a handful of twitter posts come in. Maybe nothing’s really wrong? Or there was a hiccup that introduced a backoff on polling?
On the plus side: https://www.newsblur.com/site/6325026/popehat-on-twitter just had a post come through.
Still broken: I just read a post on twitter dot com from https://www.newsblur.com/site/6628718/manglewood-on-twitter that has not yet shown up on NB.
Sorry, Samuel, but twitter feeds are still mostly broken, for me. I took the last couple of days with family, and on my return, only a handful of feeds are actually fetching items (and were full up at their 200-item limit).
Pretty much all the feeds here post a dozen items/day, and while I’ve read a couple of them (jessesingal. ClarkHat) today, pretty much only the feeds with unread items shown here are actually fetching:

Go into Manage > Friends & Followers > Connect to Twitter. You might need to re-authenticate Twitter. It seems one of your feeds was causing your Twitter to disconnect. I’m looking into why that is.
I mentioned this on the other Twitter thread…
Ok, thanks for letting me know. I just deployed an enormous Twitter rewrite. You should notice that reading Twitter feeds is much, much better all around now. I’m handling quoted tweets, truncated tweets, and auto-expanding t.co URLs. Also, I fixed it so that it will show you the reason for the failure in Statistics/Site Settings if there are any, instead of disconnecting your twitter connection (which was a mistake on my part to do in the first place).
Thanks, every thing is flowing again, and the fit and finish of the twitter content is indeed *much* better. Nice job!
I pushed out some big changes just now, including quoted tweet support for retweets. I also added the retweet author info below the tweet author info. This will make it much easier to figure out who is retweeting what you’re reading. I’m getting awfully close to having a full twitter client on my hands here.
all of my twitter stuff (which tbh I havent really checked in a bit) has been dead for a while.
for instance please see

It looks like you’re the only subscriber and your Twitter Connection token isn’t turned on. Go to Manage > Friends & Followers > Connect Twitter. I should add that to the exception dialog.
