Third-party app support?

I’m getting used to the web app, but I did 95% of my reading on Google Reader using third party apps.

I’d be happy to start bugging the Reeder and NetNewsWire guys, if NewsBlur has plans to support 3rd party access. I see the API link, but my programming is too rudimentary for me to understand what you can do with the API.

The API gives you access to pretty much all of the capabilities of NewsBlur. In fact, if I’m not mistaken, the front-end of the site uses the very same API as a back-end. There should be nothing stopping Reeder or NetNewsWire from implementing NewsBlur support.
