Stories opening site when should open in newsblur

This has been happening to a couple of people periodically since (around October last year.)

Some stories are automatically opening in new tabs

A new issue has arisen that seems to be happening inconsistently. Most recently on this article: https://www.macrumors.com/2018/10/12/macrumors-giveaway-dockit-w3-iphone-whywhood/ I’ve viewing my timeline in “Feed” mode (because images aren’t loading for many sites in the “text” mode). When I select one of the affected articles; the page for the link is automatically opened in a new browser tab and that tab is selected.
