Replying to a comment sometimes requires more than a line or two. Sometimes a paragraph break/space between lines would increase readability.

This is by design. I want to keep replies light. If you want paragraphs, you should write a comment (by sharing the story).
After nearly a year and a half in use, I’m quite happy with it. It does tend to keep conversations down a bit, but that’s OK. You still get notifications for all interactions, so you don’t miss anything.
