Removing Global Shared Stories feed

Hi folks,

In the blog post at http://blog.newsblur.com/post/160944994686/add-your-own-custom-css-and-custom-javascript-to, Samuel mentioned that we can hide the Global Shared Stories feed by adding the following CSS to our settings:

/\* Hides the Global Shared Stories feed \*/
.NB-feeds-header-river-global-container {
    display: none;
}

I did so, but the button for Global Shared Stories remains on my Dashboard. Am I doing something wrong? I know this isn’t the end of the world, but I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts.

Thanks!

Looks like my reply didn’t post for some reason. Anyway, it seems I made a mistake as you need to add the !important modifier to it.

/\* Hides the Global Shared Stories feed \*/

.NB-feeds-header-river-global-container {
    display: none !important;
}

Awesome, that did it! Would you mind also updating the blog, just in case others come across it in the future? Thanks again!
