Recommend sites to follow using all the rich data you have on your users

While using NewsBlur, it just hit me like a ton of bricks.

You, Samuel Clay, have a lot of data on us.

Why not use that to offer recommendations on sites we should follow?

I love comics, and I’m subscribed to six online web comics. I’d love to find out about more.

Surely you should know: People who read SMBC also reach X. People who read Poorly Drawn Lines also read Y. And so on and so forth.

That’s a great idea but it’s easier said than done. I’m about to launch to big ticket features: dashboard river and push notifications. My next feature is OAuth integration for sharing services (evernote, instapaper, pocket) so you can send stories to those services with a keyboard shortcut.

After that, I’d love to get my Discovery features built.
