Would it be possible to have some folders that never show an unread count (perhaps make it an option in the “Folder Settings” page per folder)? There’s some folders that I just don’t care about missing stuff in - dipping into the “river of news”, a bit like a Twitter timeline.

What’s wrong with the unread count? I have a few folders that I just let the unread count pile up. This is why folders can be minimized.

Agreed with Will - it’s “unread items guilt”. Some other RSS readers offer this option but I’d rather stick with NewsBlur!
