When I have some feeds unread, and the unread stories aren’t the most recent ones, but like 100+ in the oldies, the reader loads new stories by 10 or so, realizes that there’s no unread stories in this batch and loads another 10, until it finds an unread story. It’s frustrating because it takes a lot of time. It should immediately jump to the unread ones.

Are you hitting the ‘m’ key to load the oldest story? It should take no longer than a couple seconds if the story is a hundred back or so.
