No, really, I read those, Newsblur. You even _know_ I read those.

It has decided to randomly show read posts for certain feeds - yesterday was http://feeds.feedburner.com/andrewsul…, today is http://feeds.gawker.com/io9/full taking a turn. I’ve got
* the generic setting to show unread,
* in list view, set to show unread,
These posts are showing as read, but they’re still showing up when I click on the feed, the folder, or on All Site Stories.
* hitting instafetch doesn’t make them go away.

Using dev.newsblur.com and Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.22 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/25.0.1364.172 Safari/537.22. Disabling extensions doesn’t seem to matter.

Thoughts?

Curiously, I’m also experiencing this same issue, and I’m also experiencing it with the same feed too: io9 stories about bat-eating spiders and fake Chinese architecture insist on showing themselves in my unread queue despite my having read them over and over again yesterday evening and this morning.

Just found a fix for when it’s being wonky.

* Go to List view.
* Load the individual feed - not any folder.
* Make sure everything - including new stories - loads.
* In the main window, right next to the feed name, there’s a checkbox to mark all as read. Click.
* Reload the feed. It should show no posts.

So for diagnosing, Boss!Samuel, it’s something about scrolling in list view through not fully marking read state?
