Nerdist feed does nasty things to my computer

Something in the Nerdist feed (http://www.nerdist.com/feed/) is causing Newsblur to use up large amounts of CPU time and pushes the load on my PC through the roof.

I’ve just tried in on dev.newsblur.com and it has the same effect.

Browser: Chrome 18.0.1025.162 and Firefox 13.0.1
OS: Linux Mint 13 (based on Ubuntu 12.04)
Kernel: 3.2.0-25 x86_64

I’ll try to remember to give it a try from Windows later on.

Works great in Feed view. If I were you I’d right-click on the site and go to Site Settings, where you can change the view without having to open it up in the broken Original view.

The Original view does work for me, by the way, but right now I have a brand new laptop and the videos aren’t bogging it down.

Let me know if there’s more to it than this.

I do use the Feed view for it, however, I’m also not having any problems with it today, so maybe it’s a specific type of entry that is causing problems for me.

I’ll keep an eye on this and see if I can narrow down the problem further.

Ok, I’ve just tested the feed on my Windows machine and no problems, so it might just be my linux machine that gets sad about it. Feel free to close this one, and thanks for the awesome product
