Middle mouse button click no longer opens new tab

Using IE11 - until today the middle button on my logitech trackball - mapped to “middle button” (!) - would work as expected in which clicking on an article title in the feed page: it would open the clicked-on link in another tab without changing to that other tab. The way I like it, 'cause in NewsBlur by clicking and scrolling on the Feed page I can quickly click open a dozen or so articles without ever leaving the NewsBlur page.

But today that stopped working for NewsBlur. Still works in IE though when I’m on other pages.

Please bring it back.

Not sure what caused this. Anybody else have this behavior?

Works fine for me in IE 11
