There is a large number of articles that I’ve already marked as read. But for the past 2 days when I log in they are still showing up as unread.

I’ve had the same experience on web/Android phone and tablet but with a specific RSS feed (The Independent UK newspaper), all other feeds have been fine. If you have a similar pattern of behaviour, it would be useful to say what it is, to help the administrators track and diagnose any problem.
This issue is insane. I just went and read all my articles, updated Chrome, and relaunched the site, but nothing that I just read is marked as read!
I’m thinking this is likely caused to the server issues but I have seen my NBC news feeds seem to be the only ones doing this.
