Mark Unread for older than 30 days

I thought that subscribing would open up my ability to keep older items unread, but it seems to cap at 30 days. Is there any way around this? With YouTube removing email alerts, I began relying on Newsblur to mark unwatched videos. Unfortunately, I can’t always keep up with them, so 30 days isn’t always long enough.

I have the same concern. I think it has to do with space usage on the server.
Perhaps the limit could depend also on the number of articles in a feed? E.g. feeds with few articles could have unread articles which are older than 30 days.
