I am using the Newsblur app on an iPad mini Retina.
When I read a site in landscape, I can mark the site all read by clicking on the “mark as read” icon.
However when I am in Portrait, I see the icon until I fetch the text. When I have fetched the text, then the “mark as read icon” is replaced by another icon and if I want to mark the site read, I have to either get back to the all site list and re-enter the site or flip to Landscape mode to have the “mark as read icon” visible again.
Could you please make the “mark as read icon” always visible in Portrait mode, even after I have fetched the text ?
This was posted four years ago??? I feel really bad for F1orent, if they’re even still using the app, because this has been driving me crazy for the 6 months or so I’ve been using the iPad app.
Please, fix this! There is plenty of space in the toolbar on the iPad in landscape mode that the same check icon used on the iPhone could be used on the iPad, also. It’s actually much easier to use the iPhone app…
Yes, that works if you have the setting for “Story titles layout” to have the “Titles on left,” but if you have the “Titles on bottom,” the mark as read icon disappears as soon as you open a story.
I prefer the titles on the bottom and the text on top, but I guess I might have to get used to the sidebar way since it has been four years now, and nothing’s changed…
