Make display setting (original/feed/text/story) persistent per feed

I’d like the ability to make a specific feed always show as the “Text” option. Most of the time I stay in “Feed” mode but I have a few feeds that show just an excerpt. I’d like them to always be fetched as the full text.

Yup, this is the case today. Each individual feed respects it’s own setting, which overrides your default.

Would it be possible to have this setting respected when viewing a folder of feeds? For example:
Sites 1 and 2 reside in the same folder.
Site 1 is set to “Feed” mode.
Site 2 is set to “Text” mode.
When viewing the river of news in the folder, items from Site 1 would be displayed in “Feed” mode, and items from Site 2 would be displayed in “Text” mode.

Right now, I think the folder has its own display setting, which is fine when all the sites in the folder are from the same source (or sources with similar RSS feeds), but annoying when a folder is a topic or category with lots of different sources; for each story I have to switch to the display mode appropriate for that site.

This is what I meant in my original post. Thank you for being more verbose than I!
