Mac App not configurable to look like the web

I’ve recently converted from Windows to Mac. I downloaded the MacOS app for Newsblur, but I’m at a loss. I would like for it to display like it does on the web - site list on the left, article list on the right. When I click on an article, it should open that article in the same pane and in the list view. I can’t seem to figure out how to make it do that! I’ve gone through all the “View” settings and the app settings, but I can’t figure it out.

Some help?!

Can you post a screenshot of what the web looks like in the configuration you want the mac app to use? The Mac app is based off the iPad app, so not quite as configurable, but more native and easier to use than the web. It also gives mac notifications that go directly to the story in the mac app, which is a principle reason for its being.

I have a similar issue.

I noticed that the gear icon menu on the left panel on the right shows different menus on browser and Mac iOS app. At first I mainly used the browser to test and see how I liked NewsBlur, after getting used to it I decided to install the app but now I struggle to find things on the application that used to be simple and easy on the browser:

  1. How do I find the Email Newsletter option to find the forwarding email address? On browser it’s so easy, right click on gear and there it is.
  2. Right Click Context Menus from the browser on folders and feeds are gone in the app. :frowning: very sad, feels like an unnecessary struggle to find rename and edit folders and feeds.
