Load more than 6 stories at a time. If I am trying to read the headlines quickly, loading 6 at a time is pretty painful. It should load more depending on how you are reading. If you are just looking at collapsed titles, I think loading around 20 would work better (that’s my setting for Google Reader).

My newsblur normally loads at least 10 at a time, and has the next 10 loaded before I’m done quickly clicking through the first 10. Six at a time is definitely not the normal amount to load from my experience.
