Sorry… I noticed this in the beta, but never managed to post it (because I’m lame). I primarily see this with my Reddit front page feed on my iPad… I’ll click on the comments link to load the page in the in-app browser. Once I’m on that page, I find that the links don’t work. The work around is to just open the page in a real browser and it works fine. Sample screen grab included.
Works for me, unfortunately. What happens if you tap and hold on the link — do you get a popover like this? Also, does the same problem happen if you change the browser from the in-app browser to in-app Safari?
Thanks for the repIy. I do get the pop-up, but nothing happens if I pick open. Copy does work.
Tested in something other than my Reddit feed and it works.
How about the second part - what if you pick another browser (in Preferences > Reading Stories > Default browser?) Only thing I can think that’s different between your setup and mine is that I’m not logged into Reddit… does it still happen if you log out?
logging out did the trick. able to click on links. logging back in…can’t. weird, right?
Yeah, weird. And of course even when I created a Reddit account I still can’t reproduce this. Can you try copying the link and ensuring it goes where you want it to? (Also, can you compare with in-app Safari?)
