Is there a way to turn training off completely?

Training seems to be causing me a lot of problems - mostly with BoingBoing where it decides to mark three or four hundred stories interesting and unread (which usually happens if I use the iOS app, but sometimes happens on web).

Basically I really just want to turn the feature off - if I follow a feed it’s because I want to see what’s going on in the feed. The training and suggestions part doesn’t interest me.

Just don’t use it. It’s explicit, so it won’t hide or show stories unless you explicitly say that you like or dislike something. It’s quite transparent.
