iOS app: push notifications suddenly stopped

I just started using NewsBlur and got a Premium account because it was the first RSS app where the push notifications actually worked. Thank you for your work, and for helping people out on this forum.

I see this question has been asked before, but it’s been a while and I tried everything else and couldn’t fix the problem.

I pretty much only follow 3 websites, that publish a lot of articles every day (deadline.com, the hollywood reporter, variety). I was getting push notifications flawlessly from the moment I downloaded the app, when they suddenly stopped a few days ago.

I checked my iPhone settings, restarted my iPhone, updated the software, deleted the NewsBlur app and reinstalled it, deleted the RSS feeds and added them back, turned off notifications and turned them back on, checked that the app was allowed background refresh with and without wifi, turned off the VPN.

None of these things got the push notifications back.

Is there anything else I can do, or get help?
