Would it be feasible to enable highlighting of text in saved stories and then display highlights? this would be similar to the Amazon Kindle feature.

Great idea, but lots of work. Anybody else want something like this?
I would love this feature and have been looking for a product that does something like this. I use a lot of my saved stories for learning so being able to highlight critical parts would be an amazing learning/research addition, Please build it!
I would love this features as well. It would be really useful for research. It’s one of the best selling points of Instapaper service. It would be great to use it here, instead of there.
