Google Reader - Not Synced

I have a premium account and a large number of feeds (hundreds). I am finding that Newsbur isnt reflecting Google Reader accurately. In summary, the number of unread articles isnt syncing with my google reader (as reported on googles page and on my mobile phone app).

Newsblur doesn’t actually sync with Google Reader. Rather, the one-time connection pulls in all your current subscribed feeds into NewsBlur so you don’t have to re-add every single rss you follow. It’s a wholly separate system, not a new skin for Reader.

You can only import your feeds from Google Reader to NewsBlur.
