I have a lot of stories that are not marked read. Sometimes I’ll right click and mark them as read, but they build up over a week or two. When I click on the folder or the feed, no stories show up.
What’s the reason for this?

This happens to me with most of my frequently updated feeds. One or more ghost unread stories will almost always remain after I read a feed with multiple unread stories remaining. “Mark As Read” solves the problem temporarily.
Proposal: Trigger automatic re-counting whenever a request to fetch new stories fails to retrieve the expected number.
OK, I pushed a fix a couple days ago. Let me know how that works.
yeah, seems to be better, unread folders also “collapse” now- they weren’t collapsing before your push. (or those two events seem to be related…)
