Feeds in third-party API, but not on site.

I have a number of feeds such as Ars Technica that I have unsubscribed from on Newsblur.com, but still appear when I access NewsBlur from third-party apps such as Unread on iOS.

They aren’t in any folders, and I can’t figure out how to get rid of them from my account (WillSpaetzel).

I’ll let Sam give the official answer, but I can confirm that in working on the Android app and my own 3rd party app, you will sometimes encounter “orphan” feeds (those not assigned to a folder, even the root folder) that should be ignored.

That is to say, in the /reader/feeds response, the top-level ‘folders’ element is the authority on subscription info, and the ‘feeds’ array contains info on feeds that *might* be needed or not.

I think what I’ll do is show them on the web and let you figure out what you’d like to do with them. Orphaned feeds are typically deleted feeds, although I’m not sure why they are still kicking around.
