Feed not loading - feed url being replaced

A site that I have feeds in NewsBlur crashed today. It’s back up and running but I noticed that I’m no longer getting any feeds in NewsBlur. I tried to fix the misbehaving feed by manually entering the RSS feed URL. But it keeps getting replaced by an incorrect URL when I click parse.

The correct URL is http://www.devlinoneill.com/?feed=com….
The incorrect URL that shows up after clicking parse is http://operaminiupdate.ru/?a=u2d4y294….

I’ve tried adding ‘?’ and ‘?sometext’ to the end of the feed URL but it doesn’t work. It’s still replaced by that incorrect URL.

Good news! Not only did I fix the feed, but I fixed the underlying issue. The problem is that the feed was browser sniffing (by reading the user agent string) and if it didn’t look something like (Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_1) AppleWebKit/534.48.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Safari/534.48.3), it would redirect to a mobile version.

Anyway, not only is this fixed for you, but hopefully this will fix a lot of other feed bugs that users have been having with some feeds.
