A few days ago, the feed list on the left started showing all of the feeds, not just the feeds that had unread stories. I don’t remember changing a setting to make that happen, and I can’t find a setting that makes it go away and only show the feeds with something to read.

It’s at the bottom of the feed list. You may have inadvertently hit +/-, which switches between them.
