Or at least make the expand/collapse button more visible.
The fact that clicking the folder icon brings up the menu which is rarely used in comparison to expanding a folder so that you can access its contents also seems odd to me. I’d think people expanding folders would be a more common action than using that menu especially with the double click to mark as read functionality.
