I tried searching for this in multiple ways but I didn’t come across anything like what I intend, but I can’t believe noone else has previously requested it.
Basically, when I change folders it automatically opens the first story in the article list. I often switch folders looking for any new articles and interesting headlines but don’t always read the first one as soon as I switch.
It would be nice to either disable the automatic story opening as soon as the folder is selected (maybe show the stats/splash page instead) or add a significant timeout delay before that article is read - but only that one. I select uninteresting articles to mark them as read so having to wait 10-30 seconds for each story would become tedious.
