Good catch, this was a bug. Super dislikes were getting the same small penalty as regular dislikes, and a strongly trending story could still outweigh it.
Fixed. Super dislikes now hide the story from the briefing the same way they do in the river. Regular dislikes still just penalize. Thanks for reporting this!
