The text box for a comment when you share a story is way, way, too small. It fits 2 or 3 words on a line at best. Please make it larger!

I couldn’t agree more. Something no longer than a sentence is much to long for the existing comments text box.
Looks like they fixed it. It is now placed horizontally below the article.
