Centrally-hosted NewsBlur with self-hosted BlurBlog

I really love using the centrally-hosted version of NewsBlur, because it’s an awesome newsreader, but also because of the awesome community that’s there. In the spirit of owning my own data, though, I would love to be able to replace the built-in blurblog with one I host on my own domain (using the blurblog codebase from github).

Ideally, from the user perspective this would function exactly like the way blurblogs currently work, with the only exception being that the actual data would be on my server instead of yours. Being able to mirror content from built-in to self-hosted would be an alternative, and the Twitter-like method of providing an archive that can be downloaded and hosted easily would also work.
