Can't share stories

I’m a non-premium user.

When I tried to share a story today, I entered my comment hit SHARE and got this message:

Only premium users can share multiple stories per day from the same site.

Except I haven’t shared any stories from any sites today.

I tried sharing with other articles, same error.

I’m in the same boat. If I want to comment on a story, I can only reply to other comments.

It’s not a big deal for me, I’m not here for the social features… but I am curious if I’m doing something wrong.
