I couldn’t drag a top-level subscription on to an empty folder. Current work around is obviously to make a new subscription to populate the folder so that I can drag things on to it.
I wish I had time to dig in to the source code.

You should be able to drag into an empty folder, but it’s only a 4px high space that you can drag into. It’s a weak point of the web site, and I’ve spent soooo many hours on getting it to work, but it’s not easy. I even built a menu where you can right-click on the feed and choose which folder to move it to, but I have yet to finish the back-end component necessary to make that work. It’s in the works for this month, as soon as I can get to it.
