I am trying to add this feed:
but newsblur seems to be too clever to add it. Unless I am missing something, it sort of tries to find the feed, but does nto realize it was given an exact feed URL and there seems to be no “force this URL to be added as a feed” option. Or I am missing somethign totally basic.
The URL is fine and NewsBlur did find the feed. The fetch was what failed: bugs.kde.org refuses any request whose user agent looks like a desktop browser, and NewsBlur’s fetcher ends its user agent with one, so every fetch came back 403 and the feed sat empty with no title. I’ve changed the fetcher to retry with its plain NewsBlur user agent when a site does that, which bugs.kde.org accepts. Your subscription should fill in on its next fetch after the deploy, no need to re-add it.
