Cancel paid subscription immediately, so I can re-subscribe a number of days later?

I’m just wondering if I could somehow cancel my paid subscription immediately, instead of just disabling auto-renewal. I actually want to re-subscribe on a certain day with my same account, if possible. (It’s for a complicated reason, but still wondering if I can!)
