Ever since the latest big update to the android app I’ve encounter a few new problems. The main one is that app does not allow me to progress through my unread stories smoothly. It may prefetch 10-20 stories, but when I hit the end of that cache the app will not let me move on to the next. The next button & swiping both do nothing at that point. I have to back out to the beginning screen and go back in to load new stories. Then, rinse and repeat. I do not recall this happening on version 3.0.
