when I right click “site settings” on feeds from the NY Times, I get taken straight to ‘fix a misbehaving site’. What I want to do is to get it to open on ‘text view’. any ideas?

Yeah, that’s a known issue. It’s because the Original view has issues, so I just swapped out that section of the Site Settings dialog with the exception handler. You can switch views by hitting left/right arrow keys.
