I have some feeds that appear to have broken images on them for a few months, and I just now spent some time trying to look at them.
One of them is Sheldon comics at https://www.sheldoncomics.com/feed/ . As far as I can tell, the images in this feed don’t seem to load in any of my devices (on a Pixel 10 phone, in the OSX Newsblur app or from the Newsblur webpage in Firefox). Based on poking around in Firefox, it seems like it might be Cloudflare blocking the image load for whatever reason.
However, what prompted me to say this question is that it doesn’t seem to always be blocked. For whatever reason, the thumbnail feature on a story on both Android and the OSX app will properly load the image. An example is this from OSX showing the weirdness.
Now, I can certainly live with this weirdness (as I have for a few months), but it just seems odd that we can get the thumbnail but not the actual image from the main view.
