hi, i’ve been trying out NewsBlur for a few months using the free premium trial and then just the free option as i try to decide if it’s worth moving from Inoreader. I’m really enjoying doing some reading through the website so far on my android tablet and laptop but there are a few things stopping me moving completely to NewsBlur at the moment:

Facebook feeds. Inoreader allows me to create feeds for a few public company pages i would like to get news from but don’t want to deal with the app/full web site. I know this has been tried in the long distant past for NewsBlur but didn’t seem to reach a working stage. is there any plan to try this again or is that idea just dead? I know there are sites i can subscribe to which say they will create RSS feeds from public facebook pages, which is what i need, but the price for those services (rss.app, fetchrss) is more than the cost of my Inoreader sub so ideally i’d like my reader service to be able to read from facebook - or i need to find alternate locations for the info on those pages which i haven’t been able to do so far.

Android app split view (to match the iPad app and website). I use a 13 inch android tablet to do the majority of my reading and would like to get SplitScreen view on it. Using the app would be preferable to the website as i often go on holiday to remote locations with limited internet access so would like to be able to download the stories when i am near internet access and read them when back at holiday location. I would lose the download ability using the website split view. Again, from the forum i see this has been brought up before but not for a number of years. The reason given for not progressing it before was the limited number of people accessing NewsBlur from a larger screen device. Given the number of large screen foldable phones and android tablets over the last few years i was wondering if this decision could be revisited to see if there is more of a demand from android users.
