What about a long tap to save without specifying a tag? Also, we should change the “Save Tags” button to just “Save Story”.

I don’t use the tag feature at all; I don’t even know what it is or how it works. If there were an option to disable tags that skipped this screen too, that might work.

Long hold would be adding a delay just like the second click.

Options to configure which of those buttons would be nice; I only ever use save and share. I don’t use email.

There won’t be a preference turning them off because saved story tags are in every platform and are part of NewsBlur. However, I do believe a single tap should work, but it may not be easy on Android due to the need to build more custom UI for it. On iOS, we have a popover that you have to dismiss. I think it works well. And on the web, you have to tap twice anyhow, once to open the saved story dialog and another to save your private notes and tags.
