Android app: Sync stories of an opened feed jumps the view to the top

Writing in a hurry.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open an unfinished, unsynced feed that has new stories
  2. Scroll down
  3. When new stories appear, the view jumps to the top of the feed

Expected behavior:
the view should stay where it is.

another symptom of (Iā€™m guessing) this same bug: when viewing a single story and a background update completes, when you swipe to the next story, it jumps to the second story in the newly combined list with the newly downloaded stories, not the story after the current one.
