Are you on the beta channel? We just released a new beta 4.9.0b1 last night.
Silly me, forgot about that fact…
So replace “4.8.0” with “4.9.0b1” in the heading.

like all Beta releases, this is out there to catch crashes, so please report them if you installed via the Google Play store!

no worries. if it is systemic, others will get it! we also test manually with about half a dozen devices (still need to track down some Huawei ones, though).
Also crashing on start here, even after reverting to the 4.8 release. I assume I’ll have to wipe data and reinstall. Oddly, I’m not getting a force close notification. Newblur just starts, then vanishes immediately. I’d post the report on the beta G+ group, but it looks dead.
Reports should be posted here or sent automatically to the Play Store (as in crash reports). The G+ community was simply for establishing the betas. Now you can subscribe to beta releases without having to go through G+.
